How we handle your data

R3i FutureFit is a programme operated by R3i Ventures (“we”). We are the data controller for the information you provide through this platform. Questions or requests about your data go to futurefit@r3iventures.com.

• Application details — your name, email address, chosen track, availability and the motivation text you write.
• Participation record— if admitted, which sprint tasks you submit and your mentor’s review of them.
• Consent record — the fact and time of your consent and age confirmation, and the notice version in force.

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The only cookie we set is a strictly-necessary sign-in token that links your browser to your application.

We rely on your consent (UK/EU GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) to process your application, and on our legitimate interests in running, assessing and improving the programme once you are a participant. You can withdraw consent at any time — see your rights below.

You must be at least 16 years old to apply. We ask you to confirm this at the point of application. If you are under 16, please do not submit an application; a parent or guardian can contact us at futurefit@r3iventures.com to discuss options with the appropriate consent in place.

Your application is visible to the R3i FutureFit programme team and, if you are admitted, to the mentor assigned to your track. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Data is stored on managed infrastructure (Neon/Postgres, Vercel) acting as our processors.

We retain application and participation data for 24 months after your last activity, after which it is deleted or anonymised — except an issued credential record, which we keep so the credential remains verifiable, and only for as long as that purpose lasts.

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, or to withdraw consent or object to processing. Email futurefit@r3iventures.com and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
